IBM has announced the appointment of Ramon L. Laguarta to its Board of Directors. Laguarta currently serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo.
Ramon L. Laguarta has been Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo since 2018. Prior to this role he served as President of the company and led its corporate strategy. Over the course of his career at PepsiCo he has held senior leadership responsibilities across several regions including Europe and Sub Saharan Africa and has overseen operations in developing markets.
Laguarta is also a member of the Business Roundtable. He holds an MBA from ESADE Business School in Spain and a Master of Management degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
