The Board of Directors of Jindal Stainless Limited has approved the reappointment of Shruti Shrivastava, Dr. Aarti Gupta, and Ajay Mankotia as Independent Directors of the company. Each has been reappointed for a second term of three consecutive years.
Shruti Kanodia Shrivastava brings more than 17 years of experience in corporate and transaction law. She is the Managing Partner at Sagus Legal and previously served as a Partner in the Corporate Transactions practice at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas. She began her legal career with S&R Associates and currently serves as an Independent Director on the boards of both listed and unlisted companies. Her work has been widely recognised across leading legal publications and industry rankings. She holds a BA LLB Honours degree.
Dr. Aarti Gupta is an experienced investment professional with a strong background in strategy and capital allocation. She has served as Chief Investment Officer of her family office linked to the Jagran Group for over 14 years and is also the Managing Partner at Anikarth Ventures. In addition to her investment roles she contributes actively to policy and advocacy initiatives as National Head at FICCI FLO and serves on the boards of several family owned businesses and startups. She is a strong advocate for women focused initiatives in financial literacy entrepreneurship and workforce readiness and is Vice President on the Board of Harvard Alumni for Global Women’s Empowerment.
Ajay Mankotia is a 1982 batch officer of the Indian Revenue Service with extensive experience across key functions of the Income Tax Department including assessments appeals administration and central policy roles. His career also included deputation as Chief Vigilance Officer in public sector fertiliser companies and participation in international training programmes related to vigilance and internal affairs. After opting for voluntary retirement in 2008 following 26 years of service he transitioned to the corporate sector and joined NDTV as President Corporate Planning and Operations where he was also part of the Core Committee.
