Neelam Dhawan has completed her term and retired as an Independent Director of ICICI Bank Limited with effect from January 11 2026.
Neelam Dhawan brings decades of leadership experience across global technology and enterprise organisations. She served as Managing Director for Microsoft and Hewlett Packard in India for over a decade and later held the role of Vice President for Global Industries Strategic Alliances and Inside Sales for Asia Pacific and Japan at HP Enterprise until 2018.
During her career she has led large scale technology transformation initiatives across banking finance telecommunications manufacturing healthcare and government sectors. Her work has focused on driving digital adoption improving operational efficiency and strengthening enterprise systems.
Dhawan was a member of the NASSCOM Executive Council from 2009 to 2017 where she contributed to industry development strategy and public policy frameworks in India. She holds a degree in economics from St Stephen’s College Delhi University and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies University of Delhi.
