The company has announced the appointment of Punit Sood as a Non Executive Independent Director in an additional director capacity. His appointment will take effect on December 11, 2025 and will be placed before shareholders for confirmation.
Sood brings more than three decades of experience across financial services and technology. He currently serves as an Independent Director on the boards of two major institutions where he contributes to several high level committees focused on audit, governance, strategy, customer service, and technology oversight. His leadership includes chairing key committees and offering strategic guidance to organisations operating in fast evolving digital and financial ecosystems.
Over the course of his career, Sood has played a significant role in shaping global capability centre strategies for leading multinational firms. He has held senior technology and CIO positions across multiple countries and has been associated with notable industry councils that support innovation and transformation within global capability centres.
He also works as an external expert with a global consulting firm where he advises clients on GCC strategy development and execution. With his strong background in technology leadership, financial services operations, and strategic governance, his addition is expected to further strengthen the board’s vision and oversight capabilities.
