Rajiv Jalota & Sriram Hariharan Appointed as Independent Directors at Supreme Industries

Supreme Industries Limited has announced the appointment of Rajiv Jalota and Sriram Hariharan as Non-Executive Independent Directors (Additional Directors), effective September 13, 2025, subject to shareholders’ approval via the postal ballot process.

At the same time, Rajeev Mahendra Pandia and Ramanathan Kannan stepped down from their roles as Independent Directors on September 15, 2025.

Jalota, a retired IAS officer with over 35 years of service, has been instrumental in governance, taxation, infrastructure, maritime affairs, and public finance reforms. He previously served as Chairman of Mumbai Port Authority and Indian Ports Association, represented India at international forums including QUAD, and introduced initiatives like the Cruise Bharat Mission and CoE on ESG and Circularity. As GST Commissioner of Maharashtra, he led India’s landmark indirect tax reform, winning the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration (2017). Jalota is a Rotary World Peace Fellow, with advanced degrees from Duke University and Lucknow University, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Sustainability.

Hariharan, with nearly 30 years in financial services, brings global leadership expertise, particularly from his tenure at ICICI Bank. He was President & CEO of ICICI Bank Canada for over a decade and later served as Chairman of ICICI Bank’s Canada and UK subsidiaries. He has been recognised with Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 (2008) and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal (2012). Currently, he serves on the Boards of Home First Finance Company India Ltd. and the University of Toronto India Foundation. He is an alumnus of NIT Prayagraj and IIM Bangalore.

These appointments are expected to further strengthen Supreme Industries’ corporate governance and strategic growth.
