Leadership handoff planned for January 2026 as Anne M. Foulkes prepares to retire
PPG (NYSE: PPG) has promoted Joe Gette, 53, who is vice president, deputy general counsel and secretary, to senior vice president, general counsel and secretary as of January 1, 2026. Gette will serve on the company’s operating and executive committees and will report directly to chairman and CEO Tim Knavish.
Gette will replace Anne M. Foulkes, 62, who will retire from her general counsel position as she moves toward retirement. Effective Jan. 1, Foulkes will be senior vice president, legal and special projects, handling particular tasks and overseeing the handover of duties. She will remain accountable to Knavish during this time.
