Myers Industries Inc. (NYSE: MYE), a leading manufacturer of plastic and metal products, has announced the appointment of Helmuth Ludwig to its Board of Directors, effective October 1, 2025. Following his induction, the board will comprise nine members, including eight independent directors.
Ludwig brings 35 years of international business leadership and 14 years of board service to the role. Since 2020, he has been serving as Professor of Practice for Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Hitachi Ltd, chairs the Humanetics Group Board, and acts as an advisor to Bridgepoint LLC and Zscaler, Inc.
Previously, Ludwig spent three decades at Siemens, where he held senior leadership roles across Europe, Asia, and the Americas—including as President of Siemens PLM Software, CEO of Siemens Industry Sector North America, and Global CIO.
