Techno Electric & Engineering Company Limited has informed stakeholders that Arun Duggal has stepped down from his position as Independent Director with effect from December 15 2025. The resignation has been tendered due to personal reasons and has been duly acknowledged by the company.
Arun Duggal brings more than 26 years of experience in international banking and financial advisory. Over the course of his career he has advised corporates and financial institutions on financial strategy mergers and acquisitions and capital raising across global markets. His professional background reflects deep expertise in banking finance and strategic decision making.
Beyond corporate advisory Duggal has been actively involved in advancing research and education in emerging and critical areas. He is the Founder of the Arun Duggal Centre of Excellence for Research in Climate Change and Air Pollution at IIT Delhi and the Co Founder of the Yardi School of Artificial Intelligence at IIT Delhi. He has also established the Centre of ESG Research at IIM Ahmedabad and serves as a Trustee of the Chennai Mathematical Institute which focuses on teaching and research in mathematical sciences.
His departure marks the conclusion of his association with the Board of Techno Electric & Engineering Company Limited. The company acknowledged his contribution during his tenure and will continue to strengthen its governance framework in line with regulatory and strategic priorities.
